Building Faith From the Start

Legacy Kids exists to teach children about Jesus and help them understand the truth of God’s Word in a way that is clear, engaging, and age‑appropriate. Through Bible lessons, worship, and hands‑on activities, kids learn who Jesus is, what He has done, and how they can follow Him. Our goal is to partner with families in guiding children toward a growing, lifelong faith.

I grew up in Austell, Georgia and attended church where I came to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of eight. That is also where I met my husband Jimmy. As a teen and young adult, I served in Acteens, taught children’s choir, VBS, as well as serving on our clown ministry team.

 It has been a joy over the last 20 years assisting in student ministry! I have also taught preschool, worked as a nanny and substitute teacher, but my greatest ministry was spent raising our five (now adult) children. A few favorites: being a Gigi, visiting any beach, thrifting, and dancing to 80’s music! Legacy is family to us and I am blessed to have the opportunity each week to point children toward the hope found only in Jesus! I love being creative through songs, stories, and Scripture. One of my favorite verses is Psalm 118:14: “The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.”
